1. Finish All Your Chores
To start setting up your relaxing Spa evening, you must eliminate everything that will bother you along the way. Finish all the things you have planned to do. Finish all the house chores and if possible, inform everyone in the house that you are planning for a Spa night so they cannot disturb your relaxation. You can also make a list of things you need to do and try to accomplish them all before starting your Spa evening. To avoid interruptions, you can turn off your phones, computers and other devices to fully embrace a relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
2. Take a Restorative Bath
Start your bath and adjust the temperature to your liking. The purpose of taking a bath is not to cleanse but to relieve the tension. To make it more effective, you can light scented candles to add relaxing aroma and play soft music to set the mood right. Speaking of aromatherapy, you can enhance it by adding bath salts into your tub or some essential oil to add more fragrance and help you relax more.
3. Massage and Exfoliate
While taking a warm and refreshing bath, you can start massaging sore muscles. Gently knead your muscles with your fingers to loosen yourself up in the warm water. Sore areas like your back, legs, arms and neck should receive a massage treatment they deserve. As you soak, you can start exfoliating your skin using a body scrub or even a loofah to make your skin soft, smooth and healthy as you get out of the tub.
4. Moisturize Your Skin With Lotion
After taking a bath, dry your skin with a clean and soft towel. Now, seal in the moisture by applying a nourishing lotion or body cream. You can apply them to your arms, legs, torso and more. Cover yourself with a bathrobe and give it time to absorb into your skin before you get dressed.
5. Give Yourself a Relaxing Facial Treatment
After taking a warm bath, you may now start giving yourself a relaxing facial treatment. You can start by exfoliating your face and scrub away the dead skin. You can use facial scrubs that you can buy on any drugstore or create one your own. You can also prepare a bowl filled with a hot steamy water. Drape a towel over your head and allow the steam to caress your face and open up your pores. To complete your DIY facial treatment, you can apply a face mask. You can either use those face mask products on nearby drugstore or you can create one your own using some notable household ingredients. You can use a mixture of honey and mashed banana and apply them onto your face for 10 to 15 minutes
6. Manicure and Pedicure
A spa treatment will not be completed without giving your nails the treatment they deserve. Manicure and pedicure are exactly what you need. Before applying nail polish, you might want to soothe your feet first. Soak your feet into a bowl of warm water. 7. Watch A Movie and get a Good Sleep
